Who are we? The Life Cycle Assessment and Bioenergy Laboratory (LCABio) is an open working place at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) dedicated to research, teaching and service to industry in the field of Life Cycle Assessment and in the field of Bioenergy systems.
LCABio is coordinated by researchers and profesors from UPM but it is also open to students, researchers and professionals from other universities, research centers and companies with an interest in these fields. Although the origin of this research group and our official addreess is the School of Industrial Engineering at UPM (https://www.etsii.upm.es/), our main facilities are currently located in Campos de Prácticas (Agricuture Practice Fields) at Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Agronómica, Alimentaria y de Biosistemas (ETSIAAB) (School of Agricutural, Food and Biosystems).
Our manifest:
- Our aim is to be an international referencein the teaching and research of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
- Communicate and disseminate our knowledge to society in this field
- Contribute our knowledge and experience to the deployment of LCA methodologies in industry and businesses.
